This project was quite a challenge!
The house was old, and nothing was straight forward. Walls were not straight or square and needed a lot of work to obtain a good finish. the project consisted of new doors throughout, new architraves and skirting boards, a sliding door created to close off the kitchen and under stairs cupboard. A new handrail, trims and spindles for the stairs. A custom built wardrobe made in one of the bedrooms, and painting and decorating through the hall, stairs and landing.

For this project the customer wanted all the existing doors, skirting boards and architraves removed. They went for cottage oak doors and pine skirting and architraves, door frames were replaced too, to create a natural look, with thoughts of using a wood stain or varnish in the future. this created a lovely finish, moving away from the traditional white paint finish on woodwork.

Carmarthen.
This old Victorian house was another challenge!
On this home every door frame was a non standard size. the customer did not want to take out the old frames as they were very traditional and in keeping with the rest of the property. A lot of work was put in to adjust doors, frames and door stops to suit what was already there. Once again Mexicana oak doors were fitted, these doors are so popular right now.
